프로젝트의 주제와 개념을 시각적인 언어로 전환하는 과정에서 다양한 형식과 표현 방식을 실험한 작업입니다. 초기 리서치를 통해 주제를 둘러싼 이미지와 텍스트, 자료를 수집하고, 그 안에서 발견한 공통적인 특징과 관계를 바탕으로 프로젝트의 방향을 설정했습니다. 이후 그래픽, 타이포그래피, 이미지, 공간과 인터랙션 등 서로 다른 요소들을 조합하며 하나의 시각적 시스템으로 발전시켰습니다.

특정한 결과물을 미리 정해두기보다 제작 과정에서 발생하는 우연한 형태와 예상하지 못한 결과를 적극적으로 받아들이며 작업을 확장했습니다. 여러 차례의 테스트와 수정 과정을 거치면서 정보가 배열되는 방식, 화면과 지면 안에서 요소들이 관계 맺는 방식, 그리고 사용자가 이를 경험하는 순서에 대해 고민했습니다. 각각의 요소가 독립적으로 존재하기보다는 프로젝트의 전체적인 개념 안에서 서로 연결될 수 있도록 구조를 조정했습니다.

최종적으로는 리서치에서 출발한 개념을 하나의 고정된 이미지로 표현하기보다 다양한 매체와 형식으로 확장할 수 있는 시각적 언어를 만드는 데 초점을 맞췄습니다. 내용과 형식, 기능과 표현 사이의 균형을 탐색하며 프로젝트의 성격에 맞는 고유한 규칙과 이미지를 구축하고자 했습니다.

This project explores various forms and methods of expression through the process of translating its central theme and concept into a visual language. The project began with research and the collection of images, texts, and references related to the subject. By identifying recurring characteristics and relationships within these materials, an initial direction and visual framework were established. From there, different elements such as graphics, typography, imagery, space, and interaction were combined and developed into a coherent visual system.

Rather than defining a fixed outcome from the beginning, the process remained open to unexpected forms, accidental discoveries, and results that emerged through experimentation. Through repeated testing and revision, particular attention was given to how information is organized, how visual elements relate to one another across screen and print, and how the viewer encounters and navigates the work. Each component was developed not as an isolated element, but as part of a broader structure connected to the overall concept of the project.

The final outcome focuses on creating a visual language that can expand across different media and formats rather than reducing the original research to a single fixed image. By exploring the balance between content and form, function and expression, the project aims to establish its own set of visual rules and a distinct identity that can adapt to different contexts.
